Queen to D6; King to G5; Knight to F3.
1. Qd6 – Be6
would be the first series of moves. King doesn’t have to move to g5. The bishop would provide the king cover from the check and if you moved the knight then the king could simply move to f5.

Btw, I have not looked at the solution so I’m as in the dark as everyone else.
Woops! Didn’t even see that. So much for my clever solution.
I’ll take another looksie in a bit; off to class for now.
