Also, cool story. While I taught myself chess by losing repeatedly in Battle Chess, a PC chess game, I played chess with a couple of friends every day during lunch, from the 6th to 8th grade. I miss that, actually. I'm still in contact with one of those guys (we work at the same place!), but we've not played chess in a LONG time. Maybe I should drag a board to work soon.
